According to
data from Statistics Estonia in the 3rd quarter of 2007 the average monthly gross wages and salaries of full-time and part-time employees of enterprises, institutions and organisations were 10,899 kroons and the hourly gross wages and salaries were 66.78 kroons. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2006, the average monthly gross wages and salaries were up by 20.2% and the average hourly gross wages and salaries by 22.7%. The average monthly and hourly gross wages and salaries have increased in the range of 20% each quarter of 2007 compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2006, the average monthly gross wages and salaries increased the most in agriculture and hunting (28.6%) and the least in real estate, renting and business activities (7.2%).
Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2006, the average hourly gross wages and salaries increased the most in public administration and defence; compulsory social security (30.7%) and the least in real estate, renting and business activities (10.0%).
